We, as drivers, need to recognize that we can make mistakes, as can those around us. Therefore, the more confident we are and the better we take a defensive approach to prevent potential driving issues, the more likely we will reach our destinations safely.

The CADD story

A team of diverse and experienced professionals in Toronto established the Canadian Academy of Defensive Driving. Our group includes veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, graduates of police foundations, volunteers with Victim Services of York Region, former teachers, licensed paralegals specializing in the Ontario Highway Traffic Act, and master driving instructors across Ontario. Our organization is deeply rooted in education.

In 2011, CADD was created with a single objective: to deliver comprehensive education and defensive training to drivers in Ontario to ensure the safety of our communities.
